YahZarah & Darien Brockington - All of My Days NYC June ‘10, Foreign Exchange show. This song right here….*smh* with these two singing it?? *sigh* When Yahz’s album came out, I instantly fell in love with it and this song is a gorgeous love song…not because I love Yahz & D so much. It’s just beautiful, the lyrics, the music, the emotion and seeing all that live was a treat for me. It was hard keeping my composure filming this one. I’ve been dying to see them sing a duet together….I’m glad I kept myself together!
Come Around ~ Foreign Exchange & Darien Brockington in T-Dot ‘09. One of my most fave songs that Darien sings but hearing this live….*sigh* There’s nothing like it. I remember the first time I saw this song live which was earlier in the same year I filmed this. I travelled to Chicago because at the time I thought FE would never have a show at home. I was almost moved to tears. You may think I’m biased for saying his but the way he put in his all when he did this song?? Mann…see for yourself.
Kam Moye aka Supastition @ SXSW. Little did I know that this was probably one of the last interviews & performances that my friend, Kam did. He quit music a few months after this and as much as I wish he didn’t quit, I know he’s in a great place right now and much happier. My boy MOS of Crew 54 got this video and put this video together when I told him I was doing a tribute on my blog for Kam. I love the shoutout I get too at the 1:57 mark!
New Edition in Toronto in ‘07. If It Isn’t Love is probably my fave NE track. Despite Ralph being sick, they held their own and put on a great show. Ricky tried to handle the vocals while dancing but gave up and they all laughed but the audience kept them going. I remember my arms being terrible stiff and sore for filming this, trying to keep still! They ache a bit when I watch it back! LOL
Bobby Brown LIVE in NYC ‘09 Boyyy, when my girl, AMC and I went to this show, we said “It’s either gonna be really great or really bad but regardless we’ll laugh & have fun!” He was great and we had a blast. Bobby brings his son onstage to dance with him during My Perogative and to my surprise, B Brown Jr. commented on the video and sent me a msg on youtube.
